Please note: All rates exclude VAT.
Front Cover:
Includes a front cover picture, contents page cover story and a double page spread advertisement/advertorial. The front cover picture must feature an installation. No logos or text will be permitted. The front cover picture must be submitted to WALLS & ROOFS for approval. Alternative pictures will be requested if the submitted picture is not approved. The front cover will be designed by WALLS & ROOFS.
Inserts:
Minimum rate R17 900. A sample of the insert must be submitted to WALLS & ROOFS for confirmation of rate and acceptability. This facility is available at the sole discretion of the publisher.
Advertorials:
Same as advertising rate, but includes fees for typesetting and standard layout. All colour pictures and non-standard layout are charged for separately.
Editorial:
Advertisers can qualify for an extra 50% of advertising space for editorial purposes,
provided the editorial is newsworthy and/or educational. This facility is available
at the sole discretion of the publisher. Advertisers need to submit editorials by deadline.
Editorial Photographs:
All photographs smaller than A4 are charged at R975 each plus VAT. A4 photographs are charged at R2 500 each plus VAT. We do not publish photographs free of charge. Advertising agency commission not included.
Conditions of Order and Contract
- Prices exclude VAT.
- Prices are nett.
- Only written space cancellations or amendments will be accepted. No cancellations of advertising or editorial space accepted 30 days or less prior to street date. Client remains liable for full rates.
- See ‘Dates for 2012’ for conditions pertaining to deadlines.
- In the event of a series contract cancellation, space already invoiced and/or paid for, is re-invoiced according to the standard once-off rate applicable to such space bookings without discounts of any kind.
- The publisher accepts no responsibility for incorrect colour reproductions, even when furnished with a proper colour sample. We will match to the best of our ability.
- Limited space and the basic layout of the magazine makes it impossible to separate competitor advertisements and/or editorials unless specifically requested timeously in advance and in writing. In some cases an extra fee may be applicable.
- Advertising rates do not include design and production tariffs - please refer to rates inside.
- Advertisements must be supplied on CD/DVD, accompanied by a full colour proof.
- All photographs with editorial are charged for according to the current rates in this prospectus. We don’t publish photographs free of charge.
- Errors in editorial published do not qualify a client for any discounts in respect of space.
- Advertising agencies are not automatically entitled to agency commission. Agency commission must be negotiated with the publisher. In this regard, WALLS & ROOFS follows a strict and ethical policy. Only bona fide advertising agents are considered.
- Terms of payment are strictly 30 days.
